We practice minimally invasive dentistry, which means that instead of the old-fashioned drill and fill approach we are most interested in preventing disease before it occurs and when there is the need to treat teeth to do so in a way which preserves as much healthy tissue as possible. Of course sometimes teeth are too diseased or broken to be repaired and if this is the case we can offer alternative replacement options while preserving the health of the other teeth.

Denplan
We are a registered Denplan dentist. For those people wishing to spread the cost of their private dental care Denplan is an excellent choice. Full Denplan care membership is available from £21.17 per month and covers you for all of your general dental care requirements, including check-ups, hygiene visits, fillings, crowns and bridges (exclusive of the lab fee), as well as giving you emergency cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week both home and abroad. Denplan Essentials, from only £9.58 per month, provides the same emergency cover as full membership and covers check-up and hygiene visits but does not cover the costs of any treatment you might need.

Root canal treatment
Martin has a special interest in endodontics and has undertaken post-graduate training in this field. We are equipped with the latest equipment for providing root canal treatments including an dental microscope and are able to offer root fillings of very high quality. Root canal treatment is a way of preserving infected teeth that would otherwise need to be removed, when it is provided by a skilled practitioner and modern equipment it is a very predictable and painless treatment. As well as providing root treatments for patients at Conservation Dental Centre Martin also accepts referrals from other dentists for more complex root canal treatments and endodontic surgery.
Tooth whitening & cosmetic dentistry
We are an accredited Enlighten whitening centre. It is now illegal for anyone other than dental professionals to whitening teeth. Enlighten is an exceptional whitening system that provides excellent results time and time again. Whitening is a great way of improving the appearance of your teeth without damaging them. After the initial treatment we are able to provide you with additional Enlighten gel to "top up" that beautiful new smile over & over again.
We are able to provide cosmetic treatment to improve your smile and you can see some cases in the gallery section. We use the latest in bonded materials to alter the shape of your teeth without causing unnecessary damage to them.
Periodontal treatment
Gum disease affects not only the gums but the bone and supporting structures of your teeth. Healthy gums are essential for the long-term health of your teeth. Our hygienist can see you to help maintain the health of your gums by providing routine scale and polish appointments. For those patients where gum disease is present Vam is able to offer comprehensive periodontal treatment to help tackle the gum disease and preserve your teeth.
